 Pure – 100% natural, virgin and unrefined Argan oil, extracted by first cold pressing, without any additives or chemical treatment, and certified organic*.

Composition of Argan oil :  interest for beauty care

Unlike other vegetable oils, Argan oil is rich in essential unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E. It’s application restores the hydro-lipidic layer of the skin and increases the nutritional content of skin cells. The oil also stimulates intra-cellular oxygenation, neutralises free radical and protects connective tissues.

The chemical composition of Argan oil is very interesting due to the nature of it’s glyceric (99%) and unsaponifiable (1%) fractions.

Argan oil is one of the richest oils in unsaturated fatty acids, containing more than 80%. These unsaturated fatty acids are made-up of oleic acid (45%) and linoleic acid (35%).

The unsaponifiable contains hydrocarbons and carotenes at 37.5%, tocopherols at 7.5%, triterpenic alcohol at 20%, methyl-sterols and sterols at 20% and xanthophylls at 6.5%.

Argan oil is rich in tocopherols anti-oxidants : 720mg/kg (Olive oil 320mg/kg). They are made-up of 5% alpha-tecopherols, 83% gamma-tecopherols and 12% delta-tocopherols.

Argan oil’s recognized properties :

• High content of essential fatty acids reinforces the skin’s protective barrier.
• By correcting a deficiency in essential fatty acids, it slows down the appearance of signs of skin aging. The deficiency in fatty acids, which is inevitable as we get older, causes aging of the skin, which is translated by dryness and loss of elasticity of the skin, which gives way to the appearance of wrinkles.
• Argan oil is also used for body care, due to it’s moisturising and revitalising properties. The high levels of unsaturated fatty acids contained in Argan oil, enter the cell membrane phospholipids, hydrate and nourish the skin.
• Thanks to it’s content in linoleic acid, Argan oil has revitalising properties. It’s moisturising and restructuring effects have been scientifically proven.
• The content of Argan oil in spinasterol and schottenol, “delta 7 sterols”, which are rare in vegetable oils, revitalises the skin, quenches anti-radicals and stimulates cells activity.
• A complete beauty care product, it also has nourishing, protective, softening and regenerative properties for dull and brittle hair. It is used for hair and scalp care, as well as for dry skin and signs of aging.
